Ken Griswold

Ken leads WhitBrooke Builders the same way he's built for a lifetime across eastern North Carolina: show up every day, do the work right, and stand behind it with a handshake. As President, he sets the standard the company is known for — and as our Quality Control lead, he personally enforces it. Nothing leaves a WhitBrooke jobsite without meeting Ken's bar, and his bar doesn't bend. Clients quickly learn what our subcontractors have known for decades: if Ken signs off on it, it's right.

Vice President, Sales / Controller

Taylor Griswold

Taylor drives the business side of WhitBrooke with a builder's hands and an owner's mindset. A licensed NC General Contractor holding an unlimited building license with over 15 years in the trade — and a licensed real estate broker — he guides clients from the first conversation through contract, budget, and close-out. As Controller, he keeps every job financially accountable, so the numbers clients see up front are the numbers they can trust. Born and raised in Zebulon, Taylor builds in the same community where he goes to church, plays ball, and runs into his clients at the grocery store.

Project Manager

Tanner Griswold

Tanner manages WhitBrooke's projects with a background most residential builders can't match: years of commercial construction experience, where schedules are unforgiving and details are non-negotiable. He brought that discipline home to Zebulon, where he coordinates crews, subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and the hundred daily decisions that keep a custom build moving. If you're a WhitBrooke client, Tanner is the guy making sure what was promised in the office happens in the field — on time, in order, and done once.

Kaitlin James

Kaitlin guides WhitBrooke clients through one of the most exciting — and most overwhelming — parts of a custom build: making it yours. From flooring and tile to cabinetry, lighting, and finishes, she helps homeowners navigate hundreds of decisions with a practiced eye for what works, what lasts, and what fits the budget. With five years at WhitBrooke, she knows our process inside and out and keeps selections ahead of the construction schedule so your build never waits on a decision.

Office Coordinator

Sidney Strickland

Sidney keeps the engine of WhitBrooke running. Behind every smooth build is a mountain of moving parts — bookkeeping, billing, records, scheduling support, and the company's social media — and Sidney handles all of it so the field team can stay focused on building. She treats the company's details like they're her own family's business — because it genuinely is.

Every family company has a heart — ours happens to have four paws. Our chocolate lab supervises office days, tags along on jobsite visits, and greets just about everyone who comes through the door. He's the unofficial mascot of WhitBrooke, and by far the hardest member of the team to say no to.
